Multicultural Wedding at The Great Barn Headstone Manor, Harrow
I was absolutely delighted when Bhavna and Mike asked me to photograph their wedding at Headstone Manor. This is such a hidden gem! A gorgeous 16th Century Barn with moated farmhouse in the middle of Harrow.
I have to confess, I have a soft spot for Multicultural weddings. The different traditions and colours make for an exciting day.
Bhavna and her bridesmaids got ready at The Barn Hotel in Ruislip.
The couple had two ceremonies in the Great Barn at Headstone Manor. A Christian blessing conducted by Mike's father with beautiful music followed by a Hindu blessing under a colourful Mandap. I love the old doors at that are used as dividers at The Great Barn. It added an extra dimension to Bhavna's two entrances. The first wearing white and the second wearing red. Bhavna looked stunning. Following the ceremonies guests chilled on the lawn eating Kulfi ice cream and playing garden games. The grounds were also decorated with colourful parasols and garlands.. Frames in different bright colours adorned the chairs either side of the aisle which then became table settings. The day was full of colour, vibrancy, fabulous food and fun and I was delighted to be a part of it.
