Fanhams Hall Labyrinth style wedding

This wedding at Fanhams Hall was styled on the film Labyrinth with David Bowie. From start to finish the detailing was gorgeous, not over themed, just subtle hints of the film. Masquerade masks, and owls being the most obvious.  The highlight of the day for me (apart from the bride's five pairs of shoes- I love shoes!) was the arrival (thankfully, as there was a traffic jam on the A1) of Gizmo the owl from the Lavenham  Falconry.  He was due to fly down the aisle (inside in the long gallery) to the Best Man to deliver the rings. I have to tell you that I had been a little worried about this for a few days. He was going to fly quite fast and straight at me as I was to be standing to the side of the Best Man! I like birds but not when they are flying straight towards me. Unlike the Registrar I couldn't flinch or dive out of the way, as I had to get the shot. Thankfully all was OK. I kept my cool, Gismo delivered the rings, I got the shot and Emma and Stephen could have the wedding of their dreams.
